At the heart of my work as an artist, vocalist, photographer, and curator is a deep commitment to empowering creative journeys—particularly for women and men stepping into entrepreneurship, leadership, and artistic expression. I believe that supporting community-led ventures enriches not only individual lives but also our shared cultural landscape.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with women entrepreneurs, founders, and artists who are teaching, healing, and leading cultural spaces. Many of these encounters began organically—through workshops, mentorship, or informal gatherings—evolving into meaningful projects rooted in creativity and resilience.
One such experience was a joyful photoshoot with female entrepreneurs supported by LEO Clare’s Business Growth for Female Entrepreneurs programme. We spent the day capturing portraits, practising self-care with Pilates, sharing sweet treats, and laughing together. It was more than photography—it was about holding space for confidence, friendship, and collective joy. Programmes like this demonstrate how essential encouragement, collaboration, and peer support are. They echo my own values: building confidence, creating visibility, and fostering community—especially in rural places like East Clare.
My work has long been about creating platforms where stories can be told and voices amplified. Whether through portrait photography in Clare, Galway, and Limerick, family photography sessions, or collaborative workshops, I seek to celebrate people’s journeys through imagery, song, and community-focused practice.
Equally, I am committed to men’s empowerment. In my facilitation work, I’ve seen how vital it is to offer spaces where men can explore vulnerability, identity, and resilience—free from stereotypes. Through photography, song, and ritual-based projects, I aim to support men in reclaiming creativity as a tool for healing, leadership, and self-discovery.
Partnerships with initiatives such as Enterprise Ireland’s women-in-business programmes, ACORNS rural networks, and local arts/community groups align closely with my vision: to build confidence, visibility, and creative sustainability for both women and men.
Ultimately, my goal is to use art as a bridge—to connect people with their inner voices, to foster entrepreneurship through creativity, and to weave communities where everyone, regardless of gender, can flourish. When one person steps into their creative power, they light the way for others.
